_PCOLNO is included for backward compatibility. Use the Report Writer instead.

_PCOLNO contains a numeric value that establishes the current column position. You can use _PCOLNO to determine the next column address for output. As FoxPro sends output to the print device, it automatically increments the _PCOLNO value to indicate the current column position.

You can assign any integer value to _PCOLNO, from 0 to 255, in order to position output to a desired column. Assigning a value to _PCOLNO has the same effect as using the AT clause of the ? command.
